The cheapest budget hotel in Davao City for less than $6.00 particularly for guests who are on a tight budget and looking to stay in a decent single room but doesn't mind staying in a fan room and sharing bathrooms with other guests. There is, however, one budget hotel which made it in the list that is an air-conditioned room and has its own bathroom but the length of stay is shorter than the rest. Check out which one suits your needs or preference.

For P250.00 ($5.76) for a night of about 22 hours of stay for a non-air-condition room or most commonly known as fan room, Hotel Uno tops our list.
The room has a single bed complete with bed sheets and towels, a personal sink, an electric fan, and free wifi may be accessed inside the room. Bathrooms are shared, though.
My Hotel came as the second in our list as the regular rate is actually P277.00 ($6.39) per night, although, promo price is at P250.00 ($5.76) per night so when you book, check if the promo is still available.
3. D' Morvie Suites
D' Morvie Suites has just opened in Davao City this year so being new is an additional factor.
Check-in time is at 2pm and check out time the next day is at 12nn.

A single room also priced at P250.00 ($5.76) but that is only for 12-hour use. Amenities however are quite better than the first two budget hotels as each room has a window type air condition, own bathroom, and a 32"LCD cable TV. Though, free wifi may only be accessed at the lobby.
D' Morvie Suites is good for backpackers who are travelling light and are just looking for a place to stay for a night.

ReplyDeleteYes? i know it hurts, kasi hindi na refund yung 350 mo. pero ganito talaga ang patakaran sa kahit na anong hotel. once you checked in at the room your money will not be refunded. same lang yan sa taxi pag naka pasok kana charged kana kagad nang 40. And front desk lang kasi yung kausap mo hindi yan sila authorized mag refund unless andyan yung manager magagawan pa nang paraan yan.

DeleteD morvie suites san pedro st davao city is a total disappointment to me as a customer. Back at CDOC i have found the place worth it and reliable but here in davao both dirty and untrusting.
ReplyDeleteDuring my stay i have seen trashes (condoms, wrappers) under the bed, hairs that clogged the cr, stained pillowcases, rules thats supposed to be inside the rooms but is needed to be asked because its at the back of the menus, cctvs that they dont have any access of (is it even possible?).. and you'll also find untrustworthy staffs.
I would surely not recommend this place, yes you would find it cheap but in cases you needed their service most they'd show you they just dont care! But if this doesn't bother you at all you can go try it yourself.
Truly disappointing.. I stay in dmorvie san pedro everytime im in DC..d last time i was there i brought 3 cans of beer in the room because I dont like throwing it anywhere in the place..i consumed the beer outside d room to be exact i drink it when i was at their parking lot..during my check out they charged me 200 hundred pesos because of what they saw "3 empty cans of beer".. I explained it to the receptionist and then d lady manager went down and i talked to her and explained it..i was realy upset of what she told me..this is exactly what she said.." nka butang mn amoa policy dra sa front entrance and back entrance if u willnot pay d fine we will charged it to the guard on duty ksi wla ka na sita..to be honest i did not see any paper showing their policies posted at d back entrance and yes theres a paper posted in the front entrance but how can we read it? Or u will not be interested to read it because it was posted above and the text are very small..i did not expect the manager would say that or will reply just like that..just because we check in to a cheap room we are already cheap and doesnt know about costumer service?..sa davao establishments are known for good client service..

To the manager and owner of d morvie suites, dont trash davao's impressive record for the safest and most livable city in the world... Kahit mura presyo ayusin nyo serbisyo nyo para ganahan naman mga turista sa pag stay sa inyo... Dyan pa naman balak ko mag stay for a week... Hanap na lang akong iba...
